When Michael Perice was young, he idolized his rabbi, Fred Neulander. He looked up to his rabbi and looked forward to having him officiate at his bar mitzvah. His faith in Neulander, and in Judaism, was shaken when Neulander was convicted of arranging his wife's murder.
After a decade-long hiatus from religion, Perice found himself re-embracing Judaism as he helped out with his family's funeral business. He is now pursuing the rabbinate as a student at RRC, and in his mother's estimation, will make an amazing rabbi.
