Throughout his time at RRC, Rabbi Matan Peled, ’16, placed a high value on people encountering Judaism on their own terms. Now, in his new position as director of education and family programming at Temple Emanu-El of Palm Beach, Rabbi Peled has been tasked with creating innovative educational programs, curricula, and experiences.
The Palm Beach Daily News recently featured the Israeli-born Peled’s story.
“I am very passionate about Jewish education because I think children are the backbone and future of the Jewish people,” Peled told the Palm Beach Daily News. “I believe that they need to find their own unique connection to Judaism in order to make our religion meaningful for them.
“We’re busy creating a dynamic, hands-on curriculum for the school that is engaging the students and their parents both in and out of the classroom.”
