RRC offers an intimate learning community with a distinctive approach to rabbinical education. The College's rigorous five-year program of study exposes you to the unique Reconstructionist view of Judaism as an evolving civilization. You'll join a diverse mix of recent college graduates and accomplished professionals, all seeking leadership roles in the Jewish community. Our graduates serve not only as congregational rabbis, but also as Hillel directors, senior professionals in Jewish organizations and educational settings, and as chaplains.

Institute for Prospective Rabbinical Students
We encourage serious candidates to attend the Institute for Prospective Students, which takes place every fall. The 2018 Institute will take place Oct. 31-Nov. 3. Sit in on classes, meet current students and faculty, learn about student life at RRC, celebrate Shabbat with a Reconstructionist community, and get the information you need to decide about rabbinical school. There is no charge for the program; travel subsidies and home hospitality with RRC students are available.
Please contact Rabbi David Dunn Bauer, Acting Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Student Life, at dbauer@rrc.edu or 215.576.0800 ext 123 for more information or an application to the 2018 institute.
